Profile

Peter was admitted to the bar in 1989 and took silk in 2004. Thereafter his practice was extremely broad across many areas of the law and jurisdictions, both at a trial and appellate level.

In 2013 he was appointed to the Family Court of Australia and in 2019 assigned to that Court’s appeal division. In 2024 Peter was made an acting judge of the Family Court of Western Australia.

From 2025 Peter has returned to the bar, with a primary focus on mediation within Australia.
