After graduating from the University of Sydney, Mr. Gould commenced practice as a solicitor in 1980, appearing in various Courts and Tribunals, with an emphasis on Family Law, Equity and Bankruptcy.
Mr. Gould was admitted to the Bar in 1985, and has since practised primarily in Family Courts, including the Family Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Federal Magistrates Court, both in New South Wales and interstate. His practice involves matters relating to children and complex financial matters at both trial and appellate levels.
Mr. Gould has appeared in complex matters involving superannuation (see T & T [2006] Fam C. A. 207) and property settlements.
Mr. Gould is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
