Chris Othen commenced practice as a solicitor in the United Kingdom in 1999. He represented clients predominantly in family law, as well as general civil litigation.
Chris moved to Australia in 2005 and was accredited by the Law Society of New South Wales as a family law specialist later that year. He practised almost exclusively in family law as a solicitor from 2005 until 2011, in parenting and financial cases, including complex matters, for both married and de facto couples.
He was admitted to the Bar in September 2011.
Chris has given lectures to the profession in Australia about family law and has worked as consultant in de facto property law to legal publisher CCH.
