Our members appear in all courts and tribunals in Australia, both in trial and appellate proceedings, and a number of members have appeared extensively in international jurisdictions, including South Africa, Fiji and New Zealand.
All members have extensive practices in
- the Family Court of Australia (including the appellate division);
- the Federal Magistrates Court;
- the NSW Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.
All of our members provide regular and significant advice in relation to all aspects of
- Family Law, including financial and children’s issues;
- the commercial aspects of relationships and associated corporate and trust structures;
- pre and post-nuptial financial agreements;
- child support;
- child welfare;
- maintenance and divorce.
Our practices regularly involve aspects of international disputes, including in relation to international financial issues and child abduction.
Alternative dispute resolution is also an important part of our practices with all members participating frequently in all forms, including particularly mediations and arbitrations. A number of our members are qualified mediators and arbitrators and Chambers has facilities available for the conduct of mediations and arbitrations.
